How it works

Three steps, done

  1. Share the TikTok to cuterie

In TikTok, tap Share, then choose cuterie from your phone's share sheet on iPhone or Android. On a computer, copy the video's link and paste it into Add recipe on cuterie.app.

  2. cuterie writes out the recipe

It reads the caption, the video's captions or spoken narration, the creator's own comments (where many post the full recipe) and any recipe page they link to, then lists the ingredients and steps.

  3. Check it, save it, cook it

Review the recipe, tweak anything you like and save it to your library. Plan it into your week and its ingredients go straight onto your shopping list.

Why TikTok recipes are hard to keep

TikTok saves videos, not recipes. Amounts are said quickly or flashed on screen, the full ingredient list is often buried in a comment, and when you're standing in the grocery store you end up rewatching the whole video to remember whether it was one onion or two.

cuterie turns the video into a recipe you can read at a glance, search later and cook from, alongside everything else you've saved.

What cuterie picks up

Longer videos work too: cuterie reads the whole narration using TikTok's own captions, not just the first couple of minutes. If the creator pinned the recipe in the comments or linked to their blog, those are used as well.

When a creator doesn't give exact amounts, cuterie keeps their own wording, like "a splash of cream", and reminds you to check the ingredients before saving. It never makes up measurements.
